Secondary SEAL Y7 Introductory theme: A place to learn (resource sheets)

Note that the learning activities that accompany these resource sheets are within a separate booklet to this one, entitled 'A place to learn'.

Note also that although this theme booklet is entitled 'theme 1' on the cover, it is actually the introductory, transition theme, subsequently renamed the introductory them. Not at all confusing.

Note also that although this theme booklet is entitled 'theme 1' on the cover, it is actually an introductory theme to be used during the first few weeks of Y7, to support the setting up of a positive learning group, enable pupils to get to know each other, and establish good relationships between the tutor and group. There is no equivalent for Y8 and Y9.

Note that the learning opportunity descriptions (for teachers) that accompany these resource sheets are within a separate booklet, entitled 'Theme 1: Learning To Be Together (Learning opportunities)’. At present the Welsh Government has not made Welsh medium versions of the ‘Learning Opportunities’ booklets available for the Secondary SEAL themes resources.
